The SIRTA is distributed over three geographical areas within a perimeter of less than 5 km:

Palaiseau main instrumental platform

Boulevard des maréchaux, Ecole Polytechnique 91120 Palaiseau

Lat-Lon : 48.71725168574604°N, 2.2088393381663596°E

From Paris take RER B and stop at “Massy Palaiseau” station, then take bus n°46.06 or n°46.14 and stop at “ENSTA Les Joncherettes”. From there, walk 20 minutes to get to Sirta Observatory. Other buses stop at “Marguerite Perey” or “Polytechnique Lozère” (see pdf at the top of the page).

 

Palaiseau main office

Avenue Le Chatelier, Ecole Polytechnique 91120 Palaiseau

From Paris take RER B and stop at “Massy Palaiseau” station, then take bus n°91.06 or n° 91.10 and stop at “Polytechnique Lozère” or take RER B and stop at “Lozère” station then walk 20 minutes.

 

Orme des Merisiers platform and office

  • Chemin de Saint Aubin – RD 128, 91190 Gif sur Yvette

From Paris take RER B and stop at “Massy Palaiseau” station, then take bus n°91.06 and stop at “Orme des Merisiers”. Or take RER B stop at “Le Guichet” station, then take bus N°9 (dir Campus HEC) – Stop at “Orme des Merisiers”.
